The present pattern of utilization of Fly Ash is given in the adjoining pie chart.
The Fly Ash generation has increased from about 84 Mn tonnes in 2000-01 to 191 Mn tonnes in 2014-15 showing a growth of nearly 2.3 times. The utilization correspondingly has increased from less than 18 Mn tonnes in 2000-01 to a little over100 Mn tonnes in 2014-15 showing a growth of about 5.5 times in the same period. The graph below illustrate the Fly Ash utilization from 1996-97 till 2014-15.
